Our minds are designed to stop us from doing anything that might hurt us. The brain is wired to shy away from anything that is scary, difficult or uncomfortable; this is the built-in survival mechanism designed to protect each of us. It magnifies risk while simultaneously removing logic. However, it may label things as scary that aren’t actually harmful at all based on early childhood misinterpretations.
